Geographic Data

Geographic data consists of zip codes. By default, iRealty includes US zip code database with latitude and longitude. The administrator can add location for other countries using import data from file or add a new location features.

 

To add a new location, enter its name (for example a zip code), longitude and latitude to the 'Add a New Location' form and click 'Add' button. The new location will be displayed in the table below.

To modify a geographical data value, click the edit icon near that value in the table. The 'Edit Location' page will be opened. On this page values of the 'Name', 'Longitude', 'Latitude' fields can be changed by the administrator.

To import data from .csv or .exl files click on the 'Import data from file' link. Import data form will be opened. Choose the file you wish to import using 'Browse' button. Choose the format of your file. Enter the line from which you want to import data to the 'Start Line' field. Enter the number of column which contain names of imported data to the 'Name Column' field. Enter latitude and longitude column numbers in appropriate fields and click 'Import' button.

To delete all the geographic data from the table, click the  'Clear data' link on the 'Geographic Data' page. 

 

By default, fields of this type display as input box in input forms and as input box with list of search radius in search forms.
