An administrator can create a file with data and import it to the database. The importation can be done in CSV/Excel extension formats. To do it, click the "Data Import" link in the "Listings data management" section of the menu. The page will display the ‘Data Import’ form. The ‘Data Import’ form includes the following fields: • Date – the date of importation (the current date by default); • Time – the time of importation (the current time by default); • File – indicate a file to import; • File Format – choose your file format here (CSV | Excel); • Fields Delimiter – for CSV-files choose a field delimiter here. After filling all the fields, click the button ‘Import’. Then on the next page you should determine Database Columns according to the columns from the imported file by using the drop down list. The columns which you don’t want to include in your database tick off like ‘Ignore column’. Rows which you want to ignore also tick off like ‘Ignore row’. Then determine what you want to do with the values not found in Database – ignore them or add them to Database. Then click the button ‘Import’. On the next page you will see number of imported listings. |
