1. Creating Form-Based Interface with iRealty

This chapter contains information on the principle of building the form-based interface to the listing database.

Each listing is a set of data fields, describing one particular object and stored in database. Database fields correspond to properties of an object and define the way the data of listing is stored. What really bring the listing database to life are forms. One uses forms to create, modify, search, and display listings.

iRealty offers a very powerful and flexible forms management system. This section provides general description and basic principals of the form-based interface model implemented by iRealty, while details on how to create and manage forms are provided in "Forms Management" chapter further.
